Guests have a short stopover at Dunk Island (approximately 50 minutes), and 3 magical hours on the Great Barrier Reef at Beaver Cay, a Marine Sanctuary, exploring the colourful array of corals, and marine life, including awesome giant clams and myriad's of brightly coloured fish. There are regular visits by turtles and a beautiful potato cod, occasional surprise visits by magnificent giant manta rays, and, in the whale season, we are often privileged to experience whale sightings during the cruise.
Beaver Cay is a pristine sand cay (coral atoll), 23 nautical miles (approximately 38 klms) from the mainland, with soft, sparkling white sand that you can walk on with bare feet - a wonderful and unique experience.
Quick Cat Cruises offers an easy, relaxing and comfortable outer reef experience on our 23 meter fast catamaran. Our reef vessel is spacious – No overcrowding. Cruise includes EMC (Environmental Management Charge) and jetty fees.
