Sejala Beach House is a magical place for an unforgettable tropical experience. This sensational Mission Beach accommodation has a gorgeous secluded absolute beachfront setting under the coconut trees – the most luxurious accommodation in Mission Beach proper. No travel from surrounding beaches – just a few metres through the natural foreshore to the main beach and four minutes walk to the casual dining and shopping in the peaceful little township of Mission Beach where you will still find that old far north Queensland tropical charm and ambience.
Sejala has been thoughtfully appointed with every attention to detail. The beautiful old timber house captures the elegance and understated luxury so evocative of the tropics with breezy light filled rooms, shuttered doors and windows, painted furniture, lazy overhead fans, courtyards, ponds, beach chairs, hammocks and exotic plants and fragrant frangipani everywhere.
The large pavilion style sitting room opens onto either the flagstone terrace overlooking the Coral Sea and the islands beyond or the stunning very private glass-tiled terrace pool and sunbathing area. The in-house pool is protected by a planting of pink ginger and mandevillea and the romance of night time bathing under the huge starry sky is a special Sejala experience.
The facilities at Sejala in Mission Beach are five-star and include filtered chilled drinking water, a stunning designer kitchen with commercial ovens, eight ring cooktop and tapanyaki plate, two lovely informal bathrooms, spa bath and downstairs beach shower room, and three air conditioned bedrooms with Italian king size slat beds and latex mattresses – everything decorated in a white provincial ‘boat house’ style.
Gorgeous monogrammed bed linen and bath towels, French linen blankets, a choice of Sejala sarongs in sky blue, schiparelli pink or straw, L’Occitane toiletries and beach towels and beach chairs are all provided. Specially selected tea and coffee, virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar, hand made nougat, rainforest jam and a bottle of red and white wine is offered as a welcome package and there are puzzles, games and a small selection of DVDs.
Three large designer beach huts are also part of Sejala on the Beach. Sejala Beach House is quite separate and private but the beach hut accommodation is beautiful with the same special attention to detail and tropical foreshore ambience.
